Workmate is built around trust, proof of work, and verified digital capability. This Verification Policy explains how users earn verified status, skill badges, portfolio approval, and official Workmate identification.

1. Purpose of Verification

The Workmate verification system exists to help employers, collaborators, and opportunity providers identify professionals who have demonstrated practical digital skills, completed required training, and submitted real proof of work.

2. What Verification Means

A verified Workmate profile indicates that the user has completed one or more of the following:

  • Training modules
  • Practical assignments
  • Skill assessments
  • Portfolio submissions
  • Platform verification requirements

Verification does not guarantee employment, contracts, or project outcomes.

3. Verification Requirements

To qualify for Workmate verification, users may be required to:

  • Complete platform onboarding
  • Provide accurate profile information
  • Upload a professional profile photo
  • Submit portfolio evidence
  • Complete training modules
  • Pass quizzes or practical tasks
  • Comply with community standards

4. Verified Skills

Workmate may assign verified skill badges based on completed training, approved assignments, portfolio review, or demonstrated competency.

5. Workmate Verification ID

Verified users may receive a unique Workmate Verification ID.

This ID is used to help validate professional profiles inside the Workmate ecosystem.

6. Portfolio Review

Portfolio submissions may be reviewed manually by platform administrators, trainers, or verification teams before approval.

Workmate reserves the right to reject portfolio content that:

  • Contains false claims
  • Uses stolen work
  • Violates copyright
  • Includes misleading information
  • Fails verification standards

7. Verification Levels

Workmate may introduce multiple verification levels in the future, including:

  • Verified
  • Advanced Verified
  • Mentor Status
  • Trainer Status
  • Top Workmate

8. Suspension or Revocation

Verification status may be suspended or removed if a user:

  • Provides false information
  • Submits fake portfolio work
  • Violates platform policies
  • Engages in fraudulent activity
  • Misuses Workmate branding or verification

9. Employer Responsibility

Employers and opportunity providers are encouraged to independently evaluate candidates and portfolio work before engagement.

Workmate provides visibility and verification infrastructure but does not guarantee project performance or hiring outcomes.

10. Future LMS & Automation Integration

As the platform evolves, Workmate may automate parts of the verification process through:

  • Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Quiz thresholds
  • Assignment scoring
  • Attendance tracking
  • Practical task validation

Verified skills and profile completion may update dynamically based on platform activity and completed milestones.
